It's cold it GA too only got to 55 today and raining, some of the guys are testing in Lk Placid FL this weekend getting ready for Ocoee. They called this afternoon to tell me it was 80 degrees sunny and no wind. I could sure stand some of that weather and even some testing to go with it! :D

Maybe this mess will move east!

It's really not that cold. It's 34 now and they're predicting 28 for the low tonight. Problem with this weather around here is we usually get some of it about every 3 - 5 years... just long enough for the tree limbs to grow back large enough to break off and take down the power lines. :( We're about due...
The table and chairs in the dining room made the endangered list last time! (Total electric... no power for a week... running out of fire wood...)

Yes -- wood. I have an ax and a few old furniture pieces, plus about two cold snaps of firewood and scraps from those boat projects. Covered.

My house is the only house in the `hood that's all electric. When I made the switch, so to speak, my nieghbors shrieked, "What will you do for heat if the power goers off?" Well, golly gee, sez me, y`all have hand cranks on your gas furnace fans? Realization dawned slowly, and then they go, "Oh yeah, hadn't thought of that. Not to mention modern (last couple decades) gas/oil furnaces have electric ignition, no pilot light.

Anyhoo, my wood burner in the rec room will run you outtta the place at full burn.
