Is there anybody out there who is currently producing a height checker that can accurately, easily measure propshaft height on a hydro that has a tunnel in the bottom of it?

I am familiar with the "box frame" style that's used at Nationals; are those all just one-offs or is there someone actually making these? Or is there something better out there?

If so, who and how much?

Thanks in advance,

You might want to try Alan Brown in New Jersey, Brown Tool and Machine.

He does make pecker checkers and various hardware. Unfortunately I don't Have his number but Shannon or Craig Bowman may be able to get it for you.

I did try Alan Brown, in fact that was the first person I contacted.

I emailed him, and his response was to send me his current price list/online catalog, which does not have what I need in it.

I emailed him again, thanked him for the list and explained in detail what I need. He has yet to respond.

If Allen Brown can't take care of you let me know, and I could knock out a couple of them.

Al Brown does not make them, I asked him months ago, i would like to have one that bolts together so that it takes less room in the trailer.

Ed,

How much ? I know with running classes with these height rules, I get tired of guessing with a level. Also hlps on new boats and fixes of others boats to be sure propshaft is where you want it.
