The J committee is now in charge of the ASX. we had some new ones made and they were sent to Ernie Dawe. Then Ernie sent them to Roger Carr to insure that they were Legal. Pls call Ernie Dawe or Mark Wheeler. Their nbrs are in the propeller.

Wasn't Ernie Dawe the keeper of the AXS restrictor plates last season?
AXS is governed by the J Committee, not SORC.

Just a heads up... I don't know if the problem has been resolved or not, but there were several restrictors sent out for J and AXS that were over size mid to end of last summer... do yourself a favour and measure it up before you use it.
Mine was fine, I got it from Ernie Dawe and he was very fast to deal with.

I still have one of the "early" AXS restrictor plates. I bought it at the end of the 2002 season. It's bigger than the current restrictor plate. I think it's .750 vs .700, or something like that. When I bought it, I was advised that the size may change and if it did, I could exchange it with the new size. During the off season, the size did change. When I attempted to get it exchanged, I was advised that they wouldn't do it. I would think that APBA would have wanted to get any "out of spec" restrictor plates out of circulation. Now I'm stuck with a restrictor plate I've never used and will never use.
I will try again to get it exchanged.
