What year engines are legal in this class? I did a search and checked rules but couldnt find it.

If your looking to buy an OMC get one that is already a race motor. Or get some help/mentoring from a local racer that has some experiance in converting a production motor into a race motor. there are several differences between the legel race motor and a production motor. Race motors have the timeing locked/ production motors it changes with the throtle setting. the carb is different and the production carb is not legel. Plus you probably noticed the race foot, much different from a stock foot.
