View Full Version : Congrats Ron Magnuson and SOA!

First of all we need to pay homage to the first ever Region 10 Novice C high point champion, Ron Magnuson (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Good driving and consistent results were the key to the crown.:gold cup

Speaking of Novice C, I am hoping 2 blade prop testing gets accomplished at Yelm with Ric M's help. Turns out a spec prop is the answer, someone brought a real clunker to the prop draw and the guys that got it were kind of unhappy about it.:mad:

Last thing, way to go SOA and New Folks In Boats. We had 13 drivers participate in the school and rides, but most importantly we had 4 new drivers race on Saturday and 2 raced both days. All had big grins, I have a feeling we may have hooked some of them. Thanks to Shaws and crew, Dave Anderson and the whole club for making it happen.:claphands:

I concur with Tony's comments.I think the c-novice class has a great future and has been well received. Thanks also to all the volunteers who made last weekends race the great sucess that it was. See you all at Lawrence on Friday.Looking forward to some testing and my first D ride ! JGW

Somehow I think there will be some CSH stuff for sale after you have you D ride!! No comparison after the speed and get up and go off the corners of a D or D mod..Have fun Glen

I'm a big fan of the novice C class and Ron Magnuson and truly hope both are around for a long time three cheers SOA .

Conratulations Ron!:thewave:I had a blast racing C-Novice with you, Glenn, and Wingnut! And the rest of the gang! Very fun class can't thank Dave and Tony enough for the hard work putting it together!
