Ed had the SORC break up into class committees. SORC members chair the individual committees, and SORC members are on the committees, but anyone can be put on a committee if they so desire. Maybe Ed can post a list of the chairs.
The committees are in place to understand and address, if possible, issues facing that class. A major issue identified by everyone on the SORC was equipment, obviously. As such the Yamato group decided to put together a fresh list of racing equipment suppliers. My list started out as boat builders for Yamato classes but I'm going to expand that list to include all classes as well as those providing plans, kits, materials, and repairs. I have a lot of the obvious ones and I know this has been brought up before on Hydroracer.net, but I don't want to miss anyone. So please send me names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses for those providing the above services. You can do it here or send it to BP125V@cs.com
The lists will be maintained by key contact people at the regional and club level and made available to curent and potential racers.
Thanks,
Bill
