Thanks to everyone who came out and supported this race. Extra thanks to all officials and volunteers who helped make it happen.
Here are the results for both days. If you see any discrepancies, let me know ASAP so I can double check the lap sheets before I send them to APBA!!!
Sorry about any typos...still pretty exhausted and trying to catch up at work at the same time. Thanks for your patience!

Which day of results is for the divisionals? Did all classes have the 8 boats to qualify for a spot at the Wakefield Nationals? Just curious:D Congrats to the winners!

Thanks for pointing that out Kyle. I totally meant to congratulate the divisional winners which were from Saturday's races.
We had 8 starting boats in ASH, CSH, and 20SSH.
So the Southeast Divisional Title goes to:
ASH - 1US: Abby Pond
CSH - 3Z: Matt D'Agostino
20SSH - 11K: Tom Burwinkle
Congratulations you 3 and great job to all racers and crews for this event.

Jimmy,
The new Region Four patrol boat made it safe and sound. Casey said it pulled nicely behind her Jeep. Is there anything I can do to the rig while it's here? Do the trailer bearings need repacking or anything like that? I'll have it until Sharptown so I'll have plenty of time.
Cheers,
Fred

I need to thank a few people too so I’ll do it in order of the stuff we borrowed! Hafers thanks for the life jacket, George Stillwell thanks for loaning us the prop, Howie and Becky Nichols thanks for loaning us the boat (and apologies for sinking it!) Hafers thanks for the other boat (the one with the girly hearts on it). Also, an enormous thanks to everyone else that helped put on such a great event. Thanks for all your hard work, we had a blast!

Not only did we have a great weekend of racing and fellowship, we received $900 in donations towards a new digital clock. Thanks to all who gave unselfishly in these difficult economic times. Also, congradulations to the divisional winners and stock national qualifiers. I'm kinda tired now. Steve 10-Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Did anyone find a Type II PFD at Tabor City? I had two in my jon boat Saturday night when we finished but Sunday morning I noticed one missing while working the turn boat. It didn't turn up before we left so I thought I would check with you all (ya'll for Gary P).

80 degrees and sun, perfect water, lots of boats. What's not to like!!
All our CVRA crew and our adopted workhorse Howie Nichols from SSOA did it again. With only a week rest we pulled off another major event with no problem! Also thanks to Gary Romburg who's grandson is now racing with us. Gary is on the APBA Historical Society Board and helped get our grant processed to assist us in getting our new safety boat on the water!!!!! Now he has to teach his Grandson that u-turns at the starting line is not a cool thing here in the South!!
Now Dunn can sleep for a few weeks!!..........:pillow:
Maybe Nicki and Tom will post some pics soon........
Team Mel
ps......Aimie Pond said she will post names in lieu of the numbers this week after she gets the scoring paperwork out to APBA.

Curious...how many entries did you guys have down there?
We had 75-80 at Delaware.
Anyone here the total from Millville?

Dana
Was your 75-80 enteries per day????????
At Tabor i believe the WEEKEND (both days) enteries were at 120. Aimie Pond is putting it all together now but we had a good turnout considering we raced at the same site less than 2 weeks apart.
I heard you guys had some tuff weather and water.........but i assume Aimie and Jim put on a nice party!!

We had 75-80 Saturday.
Probably around 70 Sunday. 4-6 boat fields in everything. 18 classes Saturday, 15 Sunday.
Yes, weather was tough. Mid afternoon storm Saturday cost us an hour.
Then mist and rain all day Sunday.
Water was great except for Friday test day.
Yep...party at Sweeney's was top notch once again. Everyone had a great time over the weekend.

From memory....these should be fairly close. the 21F, 90F, 79F all come from the Sawyer camp with Reuhling, Foulds, and Dunlap sharing the driving I believe but not sure which one was one in which boat.

Thank you sooo much Howie for adding the names up there. When I posted the original results, I was doing it sneakily at work, so I couldn't be on Hydroracer for too long.
We had a total of about 120 entries for the weekend (both days). This means we met our goal to break even at this race, and maybe even come out slightly ahead. This will go towards the cost of the sanctions for our upcoming races.
Again, thanks to everyone for coming out, signing up, and putting on a good safe race!
). This means we met our goal to break even at this race, and maybe even come out slightly ahead. This will go towards the cost of the sanctions for our upcoming races.
Continually cutting it this close to the margin shows why we need to bite the bullet and increase entry fees.
If we don't do it soon, it will be too late.

Hi folks!
My name is Char1ieJ. I am a local photographer, in the Tabor City area. I enjoyed the APBA Divisionals on Lake Tabor... especially photographing you, your boats and the races.
Some of the photos are uploaded on Flickr.com (http://www.flickr.com/photos/char1iej/sets/72157626908305334/). Please browse them (http://www.flickr.com/photos/char1iej/sets/72157626908305334/) and offer comments. I'm offering these - for viewing & small, watermarked uploads FREE of charge. [All of the photos are copyright CharlieJ and not to be used without my permission.] If anyone would like to download a photo for Facebook or some other website, contact me via PM or Flickrmail and I'll get the photo(s) to you. Any photos you want printed, will be professionally printed by Miller's (no cheap WalMart or CVS cheap paper & off-color prints) for a small fee.
BTW, I uploaded 24 photos... but shot at least 150 photos that day. So, if you don't see a photo of your racer, let me know... and I'll see if I can find one for you.
I hope you enjoy the gallery.
