Going thru some old photo's and found this one of Skeet Phillips in the traps in Loncon City Or. Circa 1982? Set 40 cube DSH record @ 85.5+, took out 10 lbs of lead, and set DMH record @ 85.7+. This was the laydown "wing" boat, running a motor he had just buile for me, and this is the way it ran thru the whole run. Could have used more testing time I think.
You can follow the deck lines by looking at the orange tri-angle right below the driver. Rear curve follows the rear deck line, and the front curve follows the wing curve. Wish I had a picture from the top. Skeet, help us out here! The position of the wing (which could be adjusted on the beach) caused the boat to stall instead of blowing over. Was good enough to keep everyone's attention.
