But, if any of you missed out, there's the Mercury part number in the second post above...

Just a little known fact to point out here... The Mercury Racing kill switch that Gordie's caps were intended to fit are THEE ONLY kill switches from Mercury that are submersible with no adverse affect. That is why they are the only ones sold in the Mercury Racing catalog.

If you are running the shrouded little red toggle style kill switch there is a chance the contacts could eventually corrode and the switch may not operate correctly. They are able to be wired in either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) kill switch circuits to accomodate either a magneto or a CD ignition and I think they run about $27.00 from Mercury (new switches include a cap).
