Maybe over at Boatracingfacts, v-drive history and then the Jones facts post. Have you been there. There is an email for the current Gambler wood decker being restored. I would contact him Dave.

Not just any boat, a Javelin which his Father Jim Hooker was quite involved with. If anyone knows of one for sale, please contact him here. I am told the little red 'Ruby' boat often pictured here could be bought complete with enclosed trailer. I believe it has seen very little racing action and a friend of mine did one heck of a job restoring Ruby.
Now girl, you may be taking your love to another town. Contact E39, the other Dave, here.

Yes, the Hooker family found more than photos! They found their Dads incredible wood decker Javelin and what I am told he is quite happy and will celebrate this Memorial Holiday with a Reunion, a big family style boat racing one! Could this be the start of a Javelin Race team Reunion this year, stay tuned.:boat:

Hope her name isnt Sharon, Marissa, or Robin! What ever your name is, this Robin says, "Welcome to some REAL fun! I can loan you my driving suit so you can give it a try!"
