My last qestion to the forum was " stay in or get out".
The consenus of opinion seemed to be stay in ( somehow )
So logically follows , how or what can you do to make it so ?
Assuming you don't have "Popeye" arms and your not
Superman , any thoughts on how to achieve the desired effect .
I'm fishing for ideas so don't be bashful . R-14 Will

I never had much of a choice, whether to stay in or out! It always happened to fast for me to decide..................splash I go!!!! But, it has seemed that I stay real close to the boat after the wreck of it comes down on top of me......:( :(

I'm fishing for ideas , thoughts and suggestions
that will lead to a design that increases the odds
and decreases injury possibilities . Something that would
be adaptable the current stuff we have . Not an out and
out capsule but something in that direction .
I run 350cch mostly because of the latitude in allowable
engines and I can run almost any hull . The way the rules
are set , restraints aren't allowed unless capsulized and
there are parameters involved as to seated position .
A lay down isn't an option for me ( I'm old and just can't
handle that position for long enough to run a heat ) so I've
been toying with this idea . I'm aware of how goofy this
looks but it's only conceptual . It's not uncomfortable,
could be more upright and to conform to the rules would
require lever steering for entry and exit as per the
"no removal " rule . You would be somewhat limited in
movement but ( I don't beleive ) any more than the current
lay downs . You could run the throttle on one of the steering levers
but I think a foot throttle is the ticket .
I'm open to to opinions , pro and con , about this and critical
opinions are more than welcome as, more often than not if you
have an open mind , they may lead you in directions you wouldn't
consider otherwise . R-14 Will

Well , hmmm..... Ron, I'm not selling anything yet .
I probably wound up here because of something I
failed to pay attention to . You have this pic . It's the one that
looks like I'm taking a nap with my gear on in that rather unpristeen Marchetti . This site said it was too big and in an attempt to
down size it , I managed to turn it into part of the operating
system ( ? ? ? that's what comes up when I try to open it )
Thanks for the offer Bill . I "THINK" I might be able to print
it off the disc it's on ( gotta find it first ) then scan it , make
it a jpeg and get it to acceptable size then send it . ( whew )
Pretty sure it will get some kind of reaction . Possibly
gales of laughter , maybe not . Any ideas on how to shift this
back to the main forum ? R-14 Will
