I just put my 350 back together last night (I work better under pressure) so I will be there to test Friday. I know of 3 other 350s that should be showing up, maybe more.

My old man will be there to run either the 500 or the big guy.

I am not sure if KeeDog will be running anything but if she does it will be 20.

Can’t wait to pull the pipes and smell the methanol! Zach

Time crunch! Looks like Sunday for me only. Hopefully the OSY, but I need to put that back together.

The coolest thing gets to happen for me and our boating community on Saturday night. At our Boys and Girls clubs, they have the "Wall of Fame" (maybe shame) that they honor men and women that attended the club when they were younger and are now part of their community. This is to show the kids they have different opportunities and possibilities when they grow up. They have police officers, firemen, doctors and this year they asked me if they could put me on the wall as a boat racer. A boat racer? Really? This is by far is a greater honor than any race I could possibly win or club that I could get inducted into. This just goes to show what type of community our racing community is and what we all stand for. I’m supposed to give a few words at the event on Saturday and the first thing I will say is to give credit to all the boaters out there; the second, I'll tell them to go be a doctor, it pays better...

I dont wanna thread-jack, but that is super cool man! :congrats::congrats: You are right, the chance to influence a kid is far better than winning races, though that's not bad either ;) Get a picture for Pit Previews if you can.

I think this is a fair schedule for this weekend. Flipped on Sunday. Let me know if there is any problems. I Seperated the 'A' classes as best i could. Yamato classes, i'm not sure who or if anyone is running the same motor in runabout and hydro for csh and 25ssr...can move if needed. I will seperate the 750 and 850 MOD classes if there is more than 3 of each. 3 is minumum to get seperated, same with 250 and 350. Let me know if 500ccMH plans on getting a minimum boat count. i will include any 500's with the other MOD as needed. 1100ccR i want a show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did it... i've had my panties in a knot the last month... i'm over my issues but i stopped progress on the boat last month. its going to marysville for paint the first of next week and i hope to be ready for kitsap.

i had planned on rooming with denny & lee at the resort. lee's new motor still is not finished so he won't be there. i'm going to take wyatt salmon fishing on saturday instead. if the weather is nice i might drive up on sunday to help out.

hope you guys run well....

Thanks to everyone for their help and encouragement after Ron's 2 accidents at Lake Mayfield. He is still very sore but recoverying from his shoulder injury and big bruise on his right thigh. The boat needs repair but is fixable according to many people that were there. He got his feet wet, the boat flipped, and the motor was running too lean but is OK. An exciting weekend with lots of learning. Thanks again to all the people that came over and oferred their help.

P.S. The video taken by Ron's cousin is very exciting.

We're glad Ron wasn't hurt more seriously than he was.

Thank's again Kyle for all the work organising the weekend at Mayfield. I know the generous time for testing on Friday was greatly appreciated and the rest of the schedule worked smoothly throughout the weekend. Also thanks to Craig for all the hours you put in on the water and of course Denice and Lisa and all the great folks in the SOA family who collectively work so hard to make these race weekends so memorable.
