Not trying to be funny but I have put boats on top of my car, inside of a cargo van and even in the back of a pick up truck. If you can borrow a pick up truck or something that might help.

Honest in the old days we used a roof rack on my mom's old Pontiac Grandville which only got about 2 miles to the gallon and only ran on high test.

Went to a race with a BSR on the roof of a 95 Neon! Desperate times desperate measures!

Davey,

How much flack did you catch for the dents in the roof ?:D

Me Too !!

My 1st boat (BARGE !) 13' C Runabout on the ol' roof racks.

My last boat--The Pugh 700, on roof racks.

We were down to running 1 class again, ditched the trailers and ran real light. Fuel was a bit of a pain, especially crossing the border at 3 in the morning. "You say that stuff is ALCOHOL??"

Lakeland, 1985. Two new boats, my 250 was not evenpainted all the way. Dirt poor as usual, we just needed to get to Tom Cronks to finish things up. We had all the stuff we needed in the truck bed. It was diesel too. 1500cc and 45hp!!! It had cruise control, it was called a brick!!

Eric,

Please tell Gary that I will come get my new boat. Would hate for him to take that truck through Atlanta in rush hour!!

Hauled runabout sitting on floor of an open U-Haul and the hydro across the top it to race at Springfield, Illinois. Got the stranges looks from people passing us. I could never figure out what was so strange to them. After all I was a boat racer

hey dave sent you mail on the tower, I used to strap my little popular science hydro to the top of my mom's 93 subaru wagon, heck we still have the subaru going on 188K and not much has gone wrong with the thing.

What isn't known by the people who have posted all of these replies... xcelerator is a young boat racing enthusiast who has bought a boat and can't get it home! He doesn't have a car yet or a license.........
