Turn Fin

What are the advantages/disadvantages to having an adjustable turn fin on a CSH sized hydroplane?

Mike, Personally, I can't see any advantage to having an adjustable turn fin bracket EXCEPT: That you can experiment around with the turn fin position to find the optimum placement for the fin. Once you find the best place, an adjustable bracket has done it's job and can be replaced with a lighter, non-adjustable bracket that holds the fin in the same position.
I doubt anyone moves their fin in an adjustable bracket according to race conditions. But I could be wrong. :)
